PROHIBITED ITEMS – CONTAINER STORAGE
The following items must not be stored in any container at any Jock Storage Ltd facility (or any other storage site using this list):
- Hazardous or Toxic Materials
- Explosives (including fireworks, ammunition, and flares)
- Gas bottles or canisters (e.g. propane, butane, or LPG)
- Fuel, oil, or petrol
- Paints, solvents, or thinners
- Industrial chemicals or toxic waste
- Asbestos or asbestos-containing materials
- Flammable or Combustible Items
- Firelighters, matches, lighters
- Charcoal or BBQ fuel
- Camping stove fuel or lighter fluid
- Aerosol cans (including deodorant and spray paint)
- Illegal or Restricted Goods
- Firearms, weapons, or imitation weapons
- Drugs (illegal or prescription drugs not in the owner’s name)
- Stolen goods
- Counterfeit goods or unlicensed materials
- Perishables and Foodstuffs
- Any food or drink, including pet food (even sealed items)
- Items likely to attract vermin, pests, or insects
- Living Organisms
- Animals, livestock, or pets
- Plants, seeds, or compost
- Human or animal remains
- Pressurised or Unstable Goods
- Pressurised cylinders or containers (gas, air, CO₂)
- Fire extinguishers
- Any item that may leak, corrode, or release fumes
- Currency and Valuables
- Cash
- Jewellery, precious metals, or high-value collectibles
- Important legal documents (passports, wills, deeds, etc.) — unless copies
- Radioactive or Biological Materials
- Radioactive materials or devices
- Biological samples or medical waste
- Anything Intended for Use in Criminal Activity
- Items that may be used in terrorism or unlawful activities
- Forgery or hacking tools
- Surveillance equipment without appropriate licenses
Note: Jock Storage Ltd reserves the right to inspect any unit suspected of containing prohibited items, and to involve law enforcement where necessary. Breaching these rules may result in termination of the rental agreement, removal of items, and possible legal action.
